實話實說﹐完來真係有人買架 TYPE-R 返來而唔太著眼於性能﹐返而講外觀和內龍﹐怪不得 TYPE-R 品牌成個玩完。
Now go drive an FD2R and tell me again how it feels. A modified Jazz chassis (stupid solid rear beam axle) and K20A of previous generation is not match with FD2R counterpart.

尾一字擔設計失敗 唔係我既問題

買TYPE-R 可以係享受個種高轉既快感

有幾多人真係有錢有時間拎佢落埸~ 唔好唔記得我成日

提到既, 大左20HP 快就一定快左D 但係唔係真係快到尾燈都見唔到 ?

差個2-3秒 賽道距離 你又真係分得到 ???

STI 點解要出A-LINE ??? EVO 又點解唔堅持6MT ??

你唔知都無辦法... 世界潮流係真係有好多人買跑車唔係要黎飛... 就係咁簡單~

追求唔同... 無法討論... 你要我俾30個買一架同世界各地平版都無咩分別既4門CIVIC

have you driven the FN2? please reserve judgment until you have driven it. I haven't tried it myself, so I won't say which is a better sporty car. However, I have driven the FD2 and while it is tremendous fun in Luk Geng, I wouldn't want to drive it on an every day basis in Hong Kong, especially in the city, with the rough and pockmarked roads.

I am being subjective here, if you have driven both and can't tell the difference I guess the whole Type-R thing is meaningless to you in the first place.
The steering feed back, the engine power and the way it delivers, at the limit quality of FD2R is far far superior.

I guess same could be said about 330i and M3, it is "a few" second off the pace on tight tracks/AutoX, and I am sure you are aware the hugh difference between the two.

I am not saying the FN2 is not a car that can sell well, quite the opposite it WILL sell well, but the "Type-R" brand is sold out.

1) I can feel the huge dynamic difference between FN1 and FD1.
2) In engineering perspective the FN2R is a step down in every way from the FD2R, and yet it out sell the latter.

Should I feel sad about this? Well I probably shouldn't.

想一想... 回到上幾代.... 一架 EK 4門 有TYPE-R 的話, 就算性能比 EK9好... 我也是不會買

我愛的是其獨特性, 不是那種賽道極限的快感

我覺得係我先入為主既觀念.... 澳洲周街都係 FD.  同FD2 只差套包圍.... 仲唔小人成套 原裝包圍落哂...

咁... 我揸架真既... 同D假既... 真係無哂分別...

I am not suggesting you to buy any of them, in fact it is the opposite, but all in all not that I care anyway.

The point I am trying to make is this, a car that uses a inferior chassis and previous generation engine with a bit of packaging actually sells better.
Should I be surprise? Probably not since mass market product always make more money than niche'.

But "Type-R" is sold out.

已經沒有純種TYPE-R是事實...

FD2再好亦不會是那EK9 和 DC2R 的精神

就這種... 2架我都唔會買~ ANYWAY
