Need advice from Senior HR or Headhunters on reference check

I recently got questions from a headhunter on reference check; basically, she is doing it in a strange manner.  She wants to do it on specifically-named employers prior to sending my details to her client.  Since I would not like to bother my ex-bosses without valid reasons, and not to be used by consultants for them obtaining leads, I am very reluctant in complying.  I wonder if any senior HR executive or headhunters are able to help and advise me.

u only provide your ex-bozz's name with an agreement to the head hunter, they have to agree only to use your ex-bozz's name as only strictly within  business directly related to your job.
Tell them if u hear from your bozz they receive their Writ, once they had signed they know u mean biz.

Sorry, but I do not understand what you are saying there.  Are you an HR and what do you mean by "Writ" ?

with computer age to look up a word is so much easier compare to our days that one actually have to open up a dictionary physically and flip to the right page to see the word.
