Is there anyone working for seniors?

Hi, I am working in Canada as a Recreation Therapist now, and I may want to go back to HK to work sometimes later. But I am hesitated because I don't know if there any jobs I can do in HK which are related to my field. Please advice.

Recreation Therapy is using different activities to help client explore their leisure interest and enhance or maintain their abilities, and to cope with this challenges in daily living.

I love to work in Canada, but my parents are still in HK, they want me to come back.

The approach of my service is working with, but of course the job nature is working for seniors.

i think that field is a bit limited in hk
do you work for the government or senior housing, or perhaps others?

i think these kinds of job in Canada, is a volunteer basis in Hong Kong.

This is very true that the field in HK is very limited, that's why i am so hesitated to come back to HK. I think social worker is kind of related what I am doing, however, I've never studied social work before. I have a degree of Recreation only. Do you know is there any jobs that work for senior people like what you have just mentioned? And what are their requirement?

Agree that this field is very limited in HK. Indeed, hongkongers generally have too many leisure interests in their daily lives and i dont think they need such kinda therapists to help explore leisure interests....

I believe you could get a job here with similar nature,
but can you accept the salary may be just one third of
what you are earning currently.
