what is your major then?
if you are in sophomore year (2nd year), there is still some time for you to think about it.

spend the coming summer sembreak on an intership or overseas exchange study first, after that you may have some new thoughts.

回覆 6# 的帖子for news reporter, the competition inside the sector is already fierce, and the salary remains at a pretty low level
for columnist, there are just very few people are famous enough or have the thought in-depth enough to have a stable place in the column-writing sector.

Why don't you consult your career counselling teacher?

I would concur with that. First you have to ask yourself why you pick translation and policis. Second before you start looking for a job, you have to ask yourself what have you got to offer to the employer. You will not get a job just because you want one or you want to have fun. Outside world is quite different school life. Good luck.
