At present, there is no such provision prescribed by the Labour Ordinance of Hong Kong that an employee working overtime must be compensated by any means by the employer. So that's why the issue of standard working hours is such a hot topic.

If your salary will be under $28 an hour after OT, then you definitely have a case. Otherwise, why bother staying? Not worth the time to find and sue the company. Why don't you just find a better job?
