講起灣仔「祥利飯店」，現時有一間在三角街尾與灣仔道交界，相信也不是原莊的:o

eat哥算係半個「食家」，幫趁過此飯店幾次。也曾與有網友"tuy2"同樣經驗。果位老闆好似唔憂做，時常得罪人客。尤當店外有人等位時，他便用盡方法催客快d結帳，而佢嘅所謂快速心算「表演」，只係一種欺騙顧客的幌子耳，eat哥比後都冇再幫趁此黑店！

eat哥，見你的”品評”，嚇得小弟馬上翻睇真吓D照片，好彩個名係”祥利勝記飯店”，而且時間相隔起碼有二三十年。否則老點D網友去黑店，罪大惡極咯!講開又講，eat哥真係非浪得虛名，果然識食又擦得。[font=sans-serif]:smile_o12:

有年eat哥造訪多倫多，被豬朋舊友帶到Casino Rama Ontario見識下，eat哥當時用左C$500做地莊玩牌九，幾個回合贏左C$300幾，立刻走夾唔頭，移師去食廉價自助餐。
當時又食又攊，Casino Rama吹eat哥唔脹:victory: :victory:

We chinese do have a way of making things look literate! Thanks to out 5000 yrs of civilization.

Talking about our history, our acupuncture had been around so long, proven by the bronze man figurine.
The 5 direction is all tied into feng shui, medicine and everything under the sun.
Growing up in Hk thought TCM was only a little more scientific than worshipping Buddha. But later on yrs I find it can work very well, and more N American folks are going this way, modern western medicine are useful in emergency, but sadly a lot of disease are long term pain,  western med are basically useless in helping it at all.
Atleast electric AC fixed my nose breathing, I used to have a lot of trouble breathing thru my nose, a Dr even suggest to break my septum ( the middle divider bone of my face ) then set it up again, I said no dice! Later on i found out a lot of residual problem will come up after the surgery.

OT any folks keep aquarium, fish etc.
I do since i was a kid and still 2 tanks now.

these pics were priceless, never seen this before.
字花 gambling doesnt exist any more now?  more easier way to gamble nowadays. either to make or to lose.

小弟一向”無本事”沾賭，亦從不以為自己站在”道德高地”而對別人指指點點。但有些對賭的皮毛見法。
全世界賭埸，目標都係D”大客”，根本絕吾會肉赤D”小客”。係美，加地方，出到免費巴士，一曰幾班車，又送泥碼，又送餐甘車D”亞薄””亞蟬”去賭，明知貼錢都做，無他者，成班係免費人肉佈景板，踩旺個場。就算有人嬴錢，賭埸仲開心，除左他返去唱到開巷，當正自己係”無敵幸運星”外，下次必定番頭同埋帶班朋友來。如果輸到洗袋，你話他會否再來呢?
但D大客就吾同，他們擺低個D,先至係賭埸真正收入。
”四大國粹”是有中國歷史便有的”文化”。連”亞爺”都無符。是國粹文化戰勝共產主義思想。
情願攪好澳門，等班”八旗子弟”近近地有得玩，好過走晒去拉斯維加斯同蒙地卡羅，一個仙都無得留低。

4rex兄D紅劍和孔雀魚好正，有無想過自己配種?以前年少時有同學非常有恆心，每次抽出最美麗的，另外分缸和配種，幾次之後，配出來的美到無得頂。小弟N年前有養金魚，係名種，但都係養到超過4-5兩重便瓜直，錦鯉兩大缸，大廈停電，放工返黎時，欲哭無淚。又養過很多其他魚，多不勝數。D巴西龜由五元大小養到大過手掌，亦因其他原因到大潭水塘全部”放生”。
仲有先後七只狗，四只貓，兔仔(仲生兔孫)，但被左鄰右里成曰黎睇，嚇到隻兔媽自己食晒D仔女!!!
數之不盡(係前前後後)既雀，畫眉，吱喳梗係主角喇。D彩鳳又係養到生旦變雀孫，好開心。
而家係一切”放下”，乜都無養。

i guess one can have a small tank, so in hk it can be attractive, as we kind of lost in watching the fish swim all over freely in 3 dimension.
sadly some kids whether take frustration or whatever resort to kick the crap out of small animal, thats really baad.
hope they get the same treatment once inside the prison!

when i was young in hk i raised those  "pig boy" is a kind of cichlid, so as angels & discuss belong to same group,
i have to feed them with live small fish similar to guppies. Then thought was fun, as i got older i cant dont this anymore, just too inhumane.
I had a few arrowana aka silver dragon, i always fed them with pellets, after no food for few days they start to eat whatever fed to them. they seem to be peaceful with other fish too,
i have raise aquatic frogs not the dwarf ones, crayfish aka fresh water lobsters, turtles.
we have a very nice aquarium here in van, was there few mths ago.

i wish i have the space again to breed special kinds of guppy. a guy i knew order these special guppies, flown into van from florida or calif, about $100 for 3-4.
i have a small tank of guppies now 15 gal and a tank of gold fish 33 gal.
during my heydays i had 6-7 tanks, biggest was 90 gal 5 ft long.  and bought a water fish once, he got claws, pull the putty so it leaked, had to cleaned out tank and silicone it again.
later on i traded the water fish back to the store.
as a Taiwanese fnd told me the water fish is not a good thing for business, I had him in my office, so i got rid of him.
water fish is he same thing we eat for soup in hk,
or people call u a stand up = water fish people can squeeze u!
then bought an arrowana, its not bad for business either, it shaped like a knife.
anyways one just cannot rely on feng shui alone.
if it worked so well Tony C wouldn't be in such a mess too.

若果是的話，請放生在湖邊，小溪或小溝則可，放生落海或Fraser河口，死的成數90%以上，則與”放生”的原意大相違背，你住的地方應該很近Burnaby Lake and DeerLake 吧?

水魚

i paid 40-50 for him, so is not going to set him free like that. and that was 20 yrs ago.
according to our chinese myth, these 水魚 can really bite hard and not going to let go until u chop his head off, but viewing him from my tank i cant see his mouth that big nor any teeth at all.
so is it only a myth?
i guess nowadays 水魚 is not a common name to label someone low B, is the term quail or " um chun"  their eggs are nice though.
another issue is they're not native here, it may cause a lot of environmental issue, recently those chinese carps are driving local fisherman crazy, since they multiply so fast, eat other fish food or fish.
so as snake head   , raw fish , sang yu, is also an issue too.

i do live not far away from deer lake.
during summer there're free concert, one yr i went and most folks listen to the music quietly and enjoyed it, in my crowd there's an asian girl kept talking to her fnd, after 10 mins i told her to talk else where!

60年代初「字花」賭搏在草根階層仍然好流行，記得老媽曾經帶eat哥去譚臣道某號地舖(大概係黃箭嘴所指位置，知情老街坊請指正)買字花，當時好似係一間印刷公司。once in a blue moon老媽贏左錢時，會賞錢eat哥買零食:smile_04:

字花小弟就wa moo chee,我吾知，但旁邊間森記書店就以前幾出名，原因係想買齊金庸武俠小說的話，只此一家。希望有”金庸Fans”師兄指正。

a fnd worked in the barrack as mechanic, he said that time hk has only handful of army, wont be able quell the riot nor took over the security in a hurry.

森記租書同時經營昌興士多。eat哥童年時被同屋長輩差遣去昌興租麻雀牌，事成賞一毫。
50至70年代流行武俠小說界除了金庸作品外，還有較出名的梁羽生、柳殘陽、臥龍生、諸葛青雲、司馬翊、古龍、蕭逸.......等。不過eat哥自從遇上了金大俠作品後，中毒太深，此後不再閱讀其他的了:smile_45: 森記當時算係好齊全的了！

小弟覺得梁大師作品太「曲高」，情節冇金大俠果d咁懸疑及峰迴路轉，而且最怕小說有「連貫性」，所以冇捧場.....

絕不是作任何比較。只是小弟一向”清淡”，所以才喜歡梁羽生比較少着墨男女私情，而且，文采十分好，每章的詩皆是他親自作的。
