NFL is having labor dispute with the regular ref this season, so far they are using scabs and their performance is inconsistent and at times laughable.

NFL is trying to silence criticism on these replacement officials, looks like dictatorship to me. Thoughts?

After seeing what happened around the league yesterday, scab officials are no longer laughable.

First you have the 49ers getting a timeout and a review of a questionable call all at the same time, then you have this helmet to helmet hit (see below) that wasnt called.

American football is a violent game, these scabs are not only playing with a team's fortune, they are also playing with people's lives.

Agree that the sub refs are subpar, including todays MNF.

But NFL is not a "violent" game, more correctly a "physical" game. The rules and gears (inside the jersey) actually are way more protective than many sports.

Just sharing from my 15 years experience as a fan, including 11 years where I were living in USA.

Big East basketball is physical, but NFL is way past physical. Why do you think they have to wear all these protective gear and make up all kinds of rules to protect players from unnecessary roughness.

The bounty schemes employed by the Saints surely go beyond being physical. Who knows how many teams are doing the same thing in a more discreet manner.

Former Dallas QB Troy Aikman cant even remember he played in an NFC Championship game after suffering a concussion in that game, that is not the result of just being physical

i would like to ask where can I play american football in hong kong? where can i buy the equipment and uniforms?

how can we watch the NFL game in HK?  Any link or free website?

How about NOW TV channel 680?

This Sunday they have 49ers vs NY Jets, New England vs Buffalo, Oakland vs Denver, NY Giants vs Philadelphia.

I dont have Directv so i cant watch the New England game via Sunday Ticket.

Before the merger in 1970, AFL and NFL were two separate enterprises. They retained the "National Football League" name and logo after the merger.
