With a core average of 67 (GDL), which uni should I place as first priority? Would I have a chance to get into HKU?
Thanks in advance, I appreciate your help.

Sorry, what does 67 mean in GDL? is the grading system of GDL as same as that of UK LLB? :smile_13:
By the way, I do know someone who practises law now did HKU PCLL after GDL.

I'm not entirely sure... That's why I'm trying to seek some guidance here. Do you know what grade your friend got?

Where did you study your gdl? BPP or collage of law? Have you take conversion? 67 can stand a good chance for both cityu and hku, as long as you scored also a good mark on the additional courses.

it's one of those two but is there a difference between these law schools? sorry, trying not to reveal too much information about myself on the internet. is the first non-law degree important?

You also have to consider your overall average before deciding on which institution.
But with a core 67 I assume your average won't be anything lower than 65. If that's the case you can just choose whichever institution you prefer.

Thanks for the reply.
My average is higher than my core average.
How would you decide between the two universities?
