Did I overplay my AKo in this spot?

Micro Million $5.5, 6-handed turbo, knock-out

My stack: around 35-40BB
My image: I think I have projected myself as tight and slightly passive

Pre-flop, I was in BB, loose aggressive player (with around 50-60BB behind) opened and raised to 3BB, 2 other players with similar stacks size called and I shove with AKo with the intention to steal the pot right there because I don't think they all have a big hand (there are no re-raise and I don't think they tend to slow play big hand) and I expect my worst case is against QQ.

2 players folded and 1 tank called with 89s. He got a flush draw on the flop and rivered an 8.

How would you guys play if you are in my position?

If its a real question, and not a rant, than you got it in with the best hand, therefore you played it right.  Plus it was a turbo, so you got to steal when you can, and AK is a nice hand to do it with if you are the one doing the shoving

However, you've also got to consider that shoving allin with AK with stacks that deep isn't normally good play, especially if there are other big stacks in the hand.  As you say, only QQ+ can call, and you are a big dog against that range.

I would do the same, your stack is only 35bb and there is 9bb in dead money alone.

my friend. sometimes you just get unlucky in poker. it happens to all of us. even when you have AA you can still lose against the same shitty hand.
fact of the matter is, if you play poker CORRECTLY, meaning calculated you have more odds against the others, which in this case is true, then IN THE LONG RUN, you will win money. so don't get too upset over this, you played correctly. if your opponent keeps playing like that i guarantee you he won't be a winner in poker.
