Acid

Explain briefly why both sulphuric acid and hydrochloric acid react very little with lead(II) carbonate but nitric acid reacts vigorously with lead(II) carbonate.

係咪同solubility of Lead nitrate、Lead sulphate(s) 同 lead chloride(s) formed有關?
sulphate layer and chloride layer formed cover the lead(II) carbonate so the reaction stops soon??

Yes

Form Lead(II) chloride and Lead(II) sulphate on the surface which are insoluble in water, prevent further contact and reaction between Lead and hydrochloric acid/sulphuric acid.

Lead(II) nitrate is soluble in water, the reaction can proceed further.

one more stupid question...should i write (aq) state for concentrated nirtic acid and concentrated hydrochloric acid????

Basically you don't need to write physics state?

for sulphuric acid, concentrated sulphuric acid can acheive 98% by proportion.
For concentrated hydrochloric acid and concentrated nitric acid, usually they are about 37% and 68% respectively.

Unlike hydrochloric acid (from hydrogen chloride) , nitric acid and sulphuric acid exist at liquid in state at r.t.p
