wanna to be a crown prosecutor, is not going to achieve that in a hurry.
just like AA meeting u need to move the 1st step, namely is to be admitted into a llb/jd program.
the rest will follow.

jimbo86 2013-5-28 04:52

u almost had a degree and still didnt know how to look things up ?
this is internet age, not 40 yrs ago everything is kind of a locked up secret.

I believe asking directly online is a way to look things up in the internet age

However there is an implied rule to search/read previous threads before asking your questions.

the point is that the question you posted is pretty superficial.

BTW, there are two types of prosecutor- lay and public. the former one requires no relevant knowledge about law, a degree holder is sufficient. the later one needs you to be a qualified lawyer. And, your English must be excellent (not among ordinary students but law graduates including those from overseas).

Anyway, it's too early to set such goal because you dun even willing to do some research for your own good. it reflects a kind of immaturity. but i believe you will get well trained while you are doing your LLB/JD.

lalalalalam 2013-5-28 13:53

Btw thanks for your link above, really useful

lalalalalam 2013-5-28 13:57

I think you r right

I am still in the stage of searching my way after graduation. Its a bit immature for me to ask such Q so casually.

But amyway, thanks for answering my Q. Hope I will get trained in the future as u said.

big case they even hire outside barrister to do the crown work.

u waste more time here to ask q. then do a direct search.
should u're the top student u would have the info long time ago. to be  a lawyer or any professional u need to have very thick skin.
we no need to categorize u , u can look at a mirror and decide, remember the " mirror , mirror on the wall whose the smartest of them all." and your mirror lied to u.
if u think this is being hard on u, then dont even think of any professional school.

lalalalalam 2013-5-29 09:45

Thank you.
I never take this in a hard way.
In fact, its kind of inspiring to me.
I asked to see if there r any recommendations for the choice between these courses. To my surprise I get some opinions on the Q of my career goal. So I dont think Im wasting my time at all.

The links above above r really useful, thanks again. I have to start doing some research on the programmes offered n try my best to get in.

llb= jd
i have seen jd long time ago but thought they meant something special too.
pcll is the thing u really need to have your undivided attention, since its pivotal to whether your office table be an oak desk or made up of wood pallets and apple crates will be your new style high back executive chair.
There was atleast one very famous dude had his table bespokenly made from wood pallet, that was Lee Iacocca, when he got the pink slip from King Henry Ford II, his new found office was relocated to a big ware house. One article said circa mid 70's King Henry had to do an open heart surgery, he knew his days could be numbered so he did groomed Iacocca to be the next king incase he met his own untimely demise. Luckily King Henry survived the operation, soon as he was back in the saddle he did a palace revolt, out went Iacocca.
