I have seen some squash players use Mizuro and Yonex badminton shoes, some others use Vollyeball shoes by Asics and Mizuro, etc. But most squash players will use Prince, Head, Dunlop and Hi-tech squash shoes. As you know squash is not too popular in Hong Kong, most of the sports shops do not sell squash shoes. And the look of squash shoes are not as good as those badminton and volley ball shoes. From my point of view, the functionalities of those shoes are similar. If to choose for squash (without considering the look), I thnk the order should be squash, badminton, then volley ball shoes. One more point, nowadays the online shopping is so popular that I know some players will buy shoes from the Internet.

thz yr comment. i think fitting is the prime concern. so must buy in store so that can make sure fitting is ok.

just thinking to buy badminton shoes with better coushioning/shock prevention is more suitable because movement such as turning around, quick movement,,,etc are more similar to badminton. but just worry looking so strange.
where do u buy squash shoes? I tried Prince and feel the sole is a bit too thick and response is a bit slow. But I didnt other squash shoes

Yes, you're right. Badminton shoes are similar to squash shoes. As I said, there are some players wearing badminton shoes to play squash. So don't worry. If you only go to shops to buy squash shoes, I think only the shop in Hong Kong Squash Centre in Admiralty can provide better choices. I saw there are Prince and Head shoes being sold. By the way, do you have a coach? These days coaches may help you to buy some equipments.
