It depends on your local ties in HK, on what your career goal is, and on your suitability to climate, geography, etc.

True. Climate and environment isn't a problem for me as I do go back quite often. I'm more concerned about the working culture and life.

Cons:  long working hours, high working pressure, air pollution, too many people.
Pros:  good pay, more opportunities (promotion / get a better job), convenient (no need to drive, convenient stores around you).

Yes I am female. I do have some plans in mind but not focused on one yet. Honestly speaking, I feel that girls do have more job options like in customer service but they are mostly not professional jobs. For example, a female is preferred over a male worker in retail (from my experience). However it's hard for a female to enter an engineering job as males are much strongly preferred given that they both have similar or equal qualifications.

Thanks for your input :) the driving part is especially true. Not sure if I can give up driving as it's fun...but then again owning a car would be pretty useless in HK and probably expensive?

I see.
typical jobs for this gender: nurse, model, reporter, sales, estate agent.

Owning a car in HK may not be practical but it makes the owner look good cause it shows that they are wealthy hence able to afford a car.

pros: low taxes
cons: long working hours, crappy pay for such an expensive city, high stress regardless of industry, shitty Chinese bosses, stone age labour laws, unimpressive benefits, long commute time for such a small city

Choose wisely.

idk if this question is related to what I am asking. Let's just say I'm not a model nor do I qualify for it but I've been a sales for a luxury brand.

I don't regret to come back n work in Hong Kong. The only thing I don't really like it's the air pollution here. It's really BAD!
I respect my job here. Also, foods & drinks is the best here. All you can do is going on holiday twice, or three times a year.
That's what I'm doing.

i am so used to my wheels here, wheels to me is akin to 1st amendment to US citizens.
Still many parts of the freeway/autobahns here one can open up.
I enjoy driving a slow car fast too.

driving is actually the thing I miss the most in Hong Kong. I nearly moved back to Canada on that reason alone.
