兔子吃草天經地義，但若然偷吃了英國著名女作家溫特森（Jeanette Winterson）的香草，則後果不堪設想。溫特森日前聲稱有兔子偷吃香草，竟手起刀落殺兔報復，還將殺兔血腥烹煮過程上載到社交網，引來網民非議。

溫特森近日透過Twitter上載兔屍躺臥砧板的照片，並寫上「兔子吃了我的香菜（parsley），我就吃兔子」，她指兔子墜入香草花圃的陷阱，結果成為桌上食物，更冷血形容「兔皮連兔頭能造出最佳的布偶袋」。溫特森接著上載3張照片，其中兩張是兔肉切好備用，以及用酒和香草烹煮的過程，其中一張還見到溫特森的貓咪「享用」兔子內臟的照片，令網民吃驚。

不少網民批評溫特森的行為，認為對方無必要上載這些殘忍照片和開玩笑，甚至有人稱永不會閱讀她的書籍，但亦有人認為維護溫特森，還詢問如何烹煮兔肉。
