I went to school because my mom expected me to. But I actually really enjoyed the whole process. I paid for 90% of the tuition and fees myself and am quite happy that I went through school. I had trouble settling with one major that I want to take because there are so many subjects I wanted to learn about. I ended up with two majors in undergrad.

I did not go to school to expect big money. Perhaps my mom thought it would get me a better job after I finish university, but I never thought a degree is a guarantee to a big salary.
I don't see it as a financial investment, but rather, a personal investment. I invested in myself and the growth in myself is the return, not the money. Nonetheless, it opened a lot of doors for me being a university graudate, but that wasn't the point of my education.

A degree certainly don't guarantee u a well paid job but it give u a better chance to have success in the career you choose.   And the definition of well paid job varies a lot for different people.

U are right that university life is very enjoyable.  I kind of regret that I didn't spend more time to explore things outside of the syllabus ( althought I have done some but it was nowhere near the level I would like myself to have done)

I don't see school (university) as a type of financial investment. School for me is more of an experience where i get to meet more people, learn what i really have interest in and grow. If i did see my university career as a financial investment, i would be be more stressed out cause i expect so much out of my bachelor degree. Also, university doesn't provide you with financial benefits except for a huge debt (lol), however, university provides you with opportunities and experience that you can't get if you didn't go to uni.

If you do see school as a type of financial investment, i think that you'd be better off not going to school and just put that money into stocks, realty and bonds (things that can provide you with money).

I went to work after my graduate of HD as a junior clerk, but I luckily found my interest of what i want to do in the future that need to have a degree for entering this field or promotion to a middle or senior level. So, I spend a lot of time and self-earned money to get a degree, may be i can't obtain a lot of return from my study but i have a motivation to do it. Whatever what reasons you decide to advance your education, it depend on what you want to work or to have. BTW, im hopefully you know what i mean.

I really don't know what you are talking about. I think your English really sucks.
Anyway, I studied in Uni in Aus, money is spent by my parents.
Don't think it is not worth because I really have a nice trip there.
Although it is not easy to get graduated, I still enjoy the life there so much! :loveliness:
