同windows用家唔同，Linux有啲嘢要自己做，換來自由+高效,
encrypting file有唔小open source software揀
用virtual machine試隻啱自己用嘅嚟用

You are assuming people have paid extra for the Professional/Enterprise edition of Windows. And this is one of the main reasons why people hate the Windows.
Besides, you can use ecryptfs-setup-private on Ubuntu to create an encrypted folder ~/Private, if that is what you want for a "user-based encryption".

好多credentials, financial statements, 你唔會想人地唔小心俾人access度
