如果你想學線性代數，要看你想從哪個角度出發：即純粹數學或應用數學。如果你要從純粹數學的角度出發，set theory是基本的，它幾乎是所有數學理論的基礎，對它有深入了解是有益的。

除非你係諗住好mathematician，否則只係要讀好linear algebra入門，唔須要獨立去睇set theory嘅書。多數新版本linear algebra嘅入門書，都self-contained㗎喇！
