On one hand, we have to do what's righteous. On the other hand, we all make mistakes. For example, very junior lawyers do make mistakes from time to time, as we all do. It's all a part of learning. So I think it depends on the nature of the mistake. If they are clerical, then they might be less serious. If they involve lawyers' integrity, then they are very serious because integrity is what defines a good lawyer.

As in life, you have to balance between "principle" and "realism". If you think your colleague is incompetent, find out why, and what you can do to help the situation. Sometimes there may be many reasons - maybe she was never given opportunity to learn, maybe she is overworked, etc. Before complaining try to understand her situation first, then think of how you can make the situation better for everyone.

樓主有冇份HANDLE單CASE/DEAL? 如果冇就最好唔好理咁多or揚出去喇, 費事影響到自己份工. 做正義能通常冇好下場是常識吧. 再講, 如果真係大鑊野, 紙包不著火, 遲早會爆, 根本就不用你浪費精神.
