MSc engineering degree accreditation?

If a taught master degree is not accredited by HKIE or any other engineering panel, does it render a Msc degree useless even it's granted by a renowned institution such as HKU, HKpoly or HKust? i want to do electrical engineering in power for a taught master degreee but if it's the case, should I go for other rather accredited program instead?

Basically, HKIE only allows bachelor degree graduates in HK to have accreditation. If you have overseas bachelor degrees only, you'd better to check with HKIE to see if you can join scheme A or not after completing MSc in HK.
