Some MP4 thumbnails are displayed while some are not. I don't know why.

上面的CHING話可以install ffmpegthumbnailer　來顯示圖示，
而下面位CHING又話要靠 file manager 內置的 cap 圖功能，逐個　real time cap 個畫面出來，
咁即是有兩個做法？

就算M$win 都唔係個個video都有preview.

有些video甚至會crash explorer，因為windows explorer背後係唔可以disable個thumbnail indexer ,所以就算唔要preview都會crash

另一方面thumbnail的確好浪費資源，用慢機就知

縮圖設定太縮骨喳 :P

yes, i know how to make print screen,
but due to this ubuntu computer is a htpc,
i use a small keyboard which is not good to make a screen capture,
thus i take a photo of it. and reduce the size to make it able to post here.
but it is still able to see that is 4096mb.

常用Fedora / Cinnamon冇呢個問題

好奇之下裝個ubuntu, 發現安裝時沒有裝third party driver $ codes, video真的冇縮圖, 加裝咗上邊講嘅codes都唔得,
跟你方法入去"~/.cache/thumbnails", 發現有個sub-directory叫fail, 估計係第一次整唔到thumbnails, 留低record通知File Manager唔好嘥力再整,

rm咗"~/.cache/thumbnails/fails"入邊啲嘢就睇到縮圖

我都有電腦用fedora的確係無呢個問題。

而其實我裝ubuntu時應該己連上網路，佢應該在安裝時有裝第三方驅動等等程式架喎。

我仲未裝呀，一路睇緊你地回應有不同方法，我又半夜先放工回家未有空搞:loveliness:
