Simplified Cangjie input method , also known as Quick input method or Sucheng input method , is a stroke-based keyboard input method which based on the Cangjie input method . It is somehow a simplified version of Cangjie which requires users enter only first and last keystrokes used in the full Cangjie system , then choose the desired character from a list of candidate Chinese characters that pops up . The method is popular in Hong Kong and Taiwan .
