Unearned revenue, 求指教
小妹唔識會計，請問如果我地預先收左客錢，但我2020年4月先提供到服務，我地financial year end 係3月，咁呢筆收入在19/20年度係咪唔會在P/L出現？
即係呢筆收入唔需要在19/20年度交稅。

咩服務？係咪一年service fee？冇stage of completion？Recognise over time定point of time？

幫人搵生意，搵到就有consultancy fee. 所以冇特定時間。總之19/20年度唔會提供呢個服務住.
咁應該在19/20年度只係liability唔係profit?

The following is for general discussion only. You may want to read the contract in more detail:
Is the payment refundable (or returnable) if no business is found? If it is non-refundable regardless whether you find a new business or not, there is a chance that you can recognize as income in the current year.
Otherwise, you should defer and recognise the revenue when the performance obligation is satisfied (over time versus at a point in time (IFRS 15.35-38).

入 Advance receipt （Balance Sheet item) 。到完成服務後發出發票後才從 Advance receipt 轉入 Sales。

Non-refundable只係其中一個條件，仲要睇埋仲有冇obligation 去provide service。
