The chrome for windows crash in wine for latest versions, The last version I can sucessefully install is v97, with the version 6.xx wine runner.

As google only provides official installer of the current version, You may need to find third parties provided installer which may have some risk.

May be the space in you chrome installer causes the error  ?

Run "winecfg" command once, a windows to configure windows environment will show up. wine will create a "window" environment including ".wine" directory in user's home, and you can access the ".wine" directory via file manager if you enable show hiden files in it.

I am not sure if it is the problem of the flatpak version you are using. There is an official repo maintaing by lutris team.
You can first try another installer. The one you used is not the official google program either. You can try the chrome portable. However, it cannot access to ".wine", and will ask you to specify a folder for the portable program. After installation you can manually move the folder to "~/.wine/drive_c".  I have tested, version 97 and below should work with wine 6.**.

Wine usually installs programs as windows does, the C: drive matches ~/.wine/drive_c in user's home folder. For chrome.exe, it is in "~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Google/Chrome/Application".


Lutris has a default installation folder itself which can be found in "Preferences/Global Options". Preferences (or setting) can be opened in one of the handler on top right corner of Lutris UI.
These are the folders I know in general.
The Chrome_102XX may have GPU error and will crash on lauch.  As I mention before, the latest version is v97 I can manage to install and run.  That portable verion 97 you have downloaded will create a folder in the same folder as the installer, you can move the folder to ./wine/drive_c or anywhere after installation.

The general flatpak method to install lutris is different to apt install, I have run an installation on MX linux which is also based on Debian. After installation, it runs same as the package by Lutris repo. But I am not sure if UOS has any self-developed ways. Here is the commands.
(During Installation : always choose the latest version when asked, which is the largest number)

BTW, it turns out that you can use wine version 7.XX lutris runner if your Linux system's wines version is (upgraded to) latest 7.xx. It needs to be indtsalled and upgraded outside lutris :smile_13::smile_42: complicated.

In case you want to know, the above version is an offline installer. I have installed it on Lutris without Internet connection, and it works fine.
