Hi everyone! Can anyone tell me if it is acceptable to use different publisher of the music score during the exam?

The piano syllabus states “Barenreiter”, but I can only find “Schirmer” in local music store, does anyone know? Thanks~

It depends on individual exam board.  It is likely that their exam rules & regulations would have stipulated so.  

If in doubt, you better check with them directly.

It is Abrsm piano exam, I have sent an email for this... may be wait for a few more days.

I go thru the regulations but can't find anything about this, just saying no photocopied music is allowed but candidates can do it for avoiding tricky page turning

Any edition is allowed so long as the piece itself is not an arrangement or a transcription.

ok thanks, no reply from Abrsm at all, but I was told that any reliable publisher is fine
