Anyone applied for DOJ GC? Latest status? 

havent heard from them after 2nd interview.

Conditional offer

Congrats! When did you receive the conditional offer? I called to check but DOJ said it couldnt confirm when would release offer...

thanks... when did you receive ur vetting form?  They rang me on right after the easter break..

Received the vetting form on 19/2 and then submitted everything by 19/3 as instructed.

I called them on 8/4 to check and they said the background check progress was case-by-case and they hadnt released any offer by then.... so they freaken lied to me...

Anyways, have they confirmed your division and job start date?

i dont think they 'lied' to you ... they didn't formally make any offer to me anyway as in like in writing ... they only told me what I needa do next to secure that offer ... chances are you will get your offer soon as i assume ur not one of those who has outstanding qualification to obtain .. like me..

and no to your question, i dont even know when I'll start as i cant fulfil my condition until July anyway

do you mind telling us what sort of "outstanding qualification" or "condition" that they told you to obtain? is it related to CRE/Basic Law Test, completion of training contract/pupillage, or something else? also, did they guarantee that you will be appointed upon fulfilling such "condition"?

I’ve submitted vetting form on 1/3 but I’ve heard no news to date. No regret email and no offer by post. The website says offers will be out in April so does this mean my application is unsuccessful ?

well as the saying goes no news is good news

Still no updates for me! They clarified with me earlier that the background check progress is case by case and once the background check is done, they will release the (conditional) offer to the corresponding candidate. They also said for any applications which they are not gonna proceed with, they would definitely send out rejection emails. So, no news is definitely goods news!

咁我有機會過唔到
你有冇take law drafting written test?

佢封email有寫second in後如有需要會叫你參加written test睇下你啱啱唔啱law drafting
但一直都冇叫，我估冇咩人會被叫去:smile_13:
