今日收到第二年成績，我唔諗住讀MMU LLB，反而諗緊拎住個GDL 考CONVERSION。但我又唔肯定我夠唔夠成績，有無師兄可以話我知我呢個成績夠唔夠入PCLL?

唔知咁計岩唔岩:
Core Subjects (Contract, Tort, Public Law, Criminal, Equity, Landlaw) Average 67.5

如果計埋果堆Hong Kong Subjects 一定高分D的。

I am pretty sure you can for PT. For FT, it depends yearly.


By the way, u did a great job. All classmate suffered from the stricter marking this year.

多謝Ching🙏 我一出成績就擔心今年太低分⋯驚入唔到。我本身都剩係諗住讀PT，請問如果唔讀第三年LLB, 會唔會影響我入PC嘅機會架？

唔會，好似其他GDL一樣。但你要 take conversion exam.

今年其實都係open book的，都係online 考。不過似係俾分俾嚴咗。

係嚴左好多，每人至少低左7-8分 average

Your result looks pretty solid, good job. According to the info. on other posts, you are safe to the PT. And the LLB Top Up may give extra preparations for the coming PCLL. So it is really depends on your budget.

Thanks Ching, I was aiming to get 70+ in this year, but my result of this year is far lower than last year. It’s a relief to know that i may still be able to get into PT Pcll. 

上年有兩個覆post 65 分ft，而2021 mmu llb 既y1 y2 y3 都見多人高分
今年y2仲要成班拉低分，你對手咪其他GDL同其他年份既人
但GDL 果d 唔會報hku pcll pt, 成班都係mmu 圍威餵
報ft 就要面對local, uk llb, 咁就麻煩d, 你唔知人地marking 點
但上年hku llb 上少左近20人, gov funded 比hku llb 自家人由0.8 跌落0.75左近. 即係比mmu GDL 屈online exam分搶左d, 又或者hku 叻人唔讀
講真成個program 都係呃錢，你有心早d自學好過. 我睇space law department 都捱唔住，一定再走幾個大粒野

Y2 你冇數據都證明唔到今年平均curve 向左移, 係可能高分唔出聲
如果online exam 拉到cutoff高分就唔會65 ft,

我聽朋友講過以往出現Grade inflation嘅情況，拉高左收生成績（當然唔排除係錯覺）所以我都會有擔心呢兩年可能會因為online exam會出現進一步嘅grade inflation. 如果師兄你咁講係咪覺得呢種情況唔會係呢一波Online exam後出現？

師兄今年yr 1? 有幾多過70？

If you are worried about the "Grade Inflation",  for my little observation, it is rarely happen. The reasons are mainly as you know that people  are "running away" from HK and many people are lack of confidence for the current atmosphere especially the law and order. While there is crisis there will be chance.  If you could access to the number of students enrolled in the CPE last year, and you probably will see the number is declining. Lol...  That is my 2 cents....

見答正路野都正正常常比分，比上年高d 都可能
所以唔肯定樓主話嚴左係咪實際情況

只要係頭60-70人, Pt offer mmu眾唔洗擔心, hku 用cpe 黎呃你一筆, pcll 會再黎過. Pt成班都係mmu 黎. 仲邊洗咁多律師, 開到成100人 pt program, local 唔讀, GDL 有city會唔揀city. 我睇佢冇人讀, 55分都要收呀. 你估班professor barrister 好真心教學？uk lpc 有位咪又係 second low 照收

If OP’s grade has been really biased with material evidence, I think that the number can be lower 👍🏻 Do not forget that you are buying a diploma for a legal career as well, ppl should choose a safe school offer ba, either academically or politically

完全唔係指點呀….你認為自己70分，即係你預自己係有實力。分數的確係打擊左你地如果真係全體低分，但事實係點係唔透明，你地份卷只係比一個unknown person marked, 如果問到ranking 都可以側擊了解內情. 但呢一世都唔會覆check. 你research paper 都中上, 反映到你識準備. 如果你問點解大跌，我諗係mmu 冇講考試要求, 內容太多又已經有fixed marking, 你揀唔係佢要求既答案. 如randomly 20%人揀岩高分, somehow out of luck. 除非連岩哂都低分左, 咁更加唔使怨. 冇數據冇真相

蚊型firm 實收, 呢行龍蛇混集. 識人好過識字. 你份工幫到你更加唔會蝕底. 最終會有會西firm 收, d 學費就當蝕左佢

how about cuhk JD? 3.0 gpa ok for part time pcll?

我覺得同20年前比感覺好似mark得手鬆左甘既？我當年2A4B其它C都系overall commendation

agree. it is much easier to get in pcll these days especially for hku part time
