謝謝! 其實也沒有什麼 (雖然都是高興). 時下不少天才兒童在十歲前已和樂團表演 Piano Concerto 了. 小女沒太多天份, 只是稍肯向我這個 "惡勢力" 低頭, 付出一點努力練琴而已.
"準備了多久？"
準備了一年左右.
"每天練多久？"
每天練習 30-60 min 不等, 因有其他網課和活動, 而且太沉迷手機了(唉!). 準備初期時, 不追求每曲由 go through from start to end. 重點練習難度位. 個別週末假期有幸才有 60-90 min. 考試前一個月終於才肯投放 60-90 min.
"選擇了什麼歌曲？"
Bach : 1 x long work + 1 x short WTC
Liszt : 1 x long work + 1 x short work
Rachmaninoff : 1 x short work
Poulenc : 4 from 15 improvisations
(No work from classical period! 駭人嗎?! Luckily, examiner described as an interesting programme.)
"有什麼貼士？"
- Read Trinity's guidelines (and written programme samples) carefully.
- 小心選曲. Perhaps better to skip those which need big hands, or are very emotional, or are difficult for children to understand (e.g. Schoenberg), or are too lengthy, ......
- 大部份的小朋友只有 small hands, 因此 fingering 可要改改去配合.
- 如手頭鬆動的話 (可惜 not me! ), 便 book 一個良好的琴室/演奏廳和professional recording equipment 吧! 用普通 mobile phone 會輸蝕比 examiner 去 criticise dynamics, nuance, colour, etc.
- Trinity examiner 喜歡 criticise "slow" tempo (although some authoritative pianists played in such slow tempo)，所以要 "先下手為強".
"會考 FTCL 嗎？"
短期未有計劃. 她覺得已有交待, 想自己學玩 jazz piano.

補充 ~ 想報考 LTCL Piano 而未想好曲目的大小朋友不防考慮 :
- Mozart Sonata in F major K533/K494 (old syllabus) 在 technical requirements 上不算很難, 印象中 1st & 3rd movements 更已 "淪為" ABRSM Grade 8 ?!
- Chopin 可選 one (easier) etude from Op 10 & one (easier) from Op 25.
想選擇以上 Mozart &/or Chopin, 可要記得跟 procedure 申請 approval.
- Trinity 把 Ravel Sonatine 放在 LTCL syllabus, 但 ABRSM 把此曲放在 DipRSM.
- 部份不算熱門的 Gottschalk, Ireland, Bowen, Lecuona, Prokofiev 作品有 "禾稈蓋珍珠" 之嫌, 蠻易上手的.
