Rhetoric，有人譯作修辭，亦有人譯作花言巧語。
Challenge這詞流行，相信是商業上不少proposal、計劃書，又或者甚至是股票的上市文件中常以challenges代表各種潛在的風險和問題。
「困難」下一個自然要解答的問題就是如何去解決，結果是要來個可接受的解決方案。而「挑戰」的答案當然就是「去面對」，至於面對後的結果是怎樣？可以說，但亦可避而不談。
語言藝術，當變成語言僞術的時候，說話者可以圓滑地避開麻煩，但麻煩避開後卻不會自動解決，最後小麻煩結集成大麻煩。

口語以前會講「難度」，依家都改口用「挑戰」…
可能城市人唔中意聽到「難」字，因為有因難一定要解決，但有挑戰未必可解決？

日常口語的確係用「難度」多於「困難」, 只因為廣東話用習慣「難」.

事實沒有排行榜, 沒有名次取代或什麼取代的.
E.g. 100個人, 左邊有人用不妥善、右邊現在更多人用不理想.
你見用不理想「較多」而已, 不是同一個人的改變, 沒有「取代」.
