2間都係私立大學,論教學質量2間都差不多。如果是問學生入讀本地PCLL課程比例,2間都平均。
但以校友數量,律師Network/connections或社會名聲,肯定是ULaw比較好。其實BPP嘅導師有部份已經
轉到ULAW教。

Do you have any idea on PCLL successful admission rate from ULaw?

The successful rate for admission into PCLL programme varies every year.
As far as I know, many of the PGDL students received PCLL offers from HKU (mostly), but some of them decided to study in the UK for SQE or BPC courses.

So, the satisfying score for each module should be at least 65 marks?

Not necessarily.
According to the HKU PCLL Admissions Office, they look at the overall average of your course of study. As long as your overall average is 65% or above, you are likely to be offered a place (either FT or PT).
As mentioned above, the admission requirement varies every year. The higher score you get in each module, the better chance of receiving a PCLL offer.

Anyone who graduated from BPP of ULaw is able to share the studying [/quote]
I did part-time GDL at ULaw HK. Although it was a part-time course (ie. 2 subjects per semester), it was quite intense. There were plenty of readings and e-resources to go through before each tutorial (we had no lecture though). Apart from highlighting some key concepts, the tutors would let students to discuss and work on the tutorial questions in groups/pairs, and present their answers to the class. The tutors would come to each group and listen to their discussion, they would even join in the discussion to throw some light on us.

I believe that ULaw’s methods helped my studying a lot (but I guess most law schools teach in the same way).

However, I heard from a friend (who enrolled a year later) that the course structure of the GDL has changed, and they no longer teach “law of organisations”. For those who wish to apply for PCLL, this means one extra conversion paper (business associations).

Hope my experience helps.

Thx for your sharing. ULaw offers PGDL, which laws of organization is one of the modules.

Does anyone know how many subjects of cobversion exam would need to take if study in Ulaw PGDL? BPP's recruitment consultant once said that BPP would eligible some exemptions. Thanks .
