Can one really put away the legal responsibility by writing a disclaimer like this?

"The sole purpose of sharing these MP3s is to raise awareness and promote interest for these artists.
I strongly encourage everyone to buy the original CD's if you like what you hear."

I wish to share my CD s as well but I am not dare to upload them so publicly.

I am not an expert on legal matters and I cannot be absolutely sure about the validity of such disclaimer clauses.

I don't think it would be valid ...

Use BT la ..... too dangerous posting the lossless compressed CDs here ....especially while you are the moderator here ..

Many of these sources are from other forums and sites ... we are merely 're-posting' these sources.
Nevertheless, we will tread very carefully. :loveliness:
